Collection Guidelines
Volunteer
Join us for a fun opportunity working together as a parish collecting clothing and household items that we can no longer use and offering to people who want/need them!! The proceeds from Ann’s Attic goes to our Human Needs Outreach effort while the Garage Sale profits go our Parish’s operating budget.
Here’s how YOU can help make these combined events a success:
- Save plastic and paper bags. We will need LOTS of these. Bring them to the sale during our collection times.
During our collection times (see flier online or in the narthex):
- Bring your gently used, CLEAN clothes, shoes, purses, curtains, sheets, blankets etc… to be sold at Ann’s Attic.
- Clean out your closets, drawers, cupboards, trunks and garages or any furniture you no longer need/use and bring in for the garage sale. See the flyer in the bulletin and narthex for a list of items that we CANNOT accept.
Sign up to work a shift, either during the collection times, and/or during the sale (Sign Up coming soon)
We need people who can: sort items, help shoppers, cashier, set up, clean up
Or contact Sue Kurtenbach (annsattic@stpiusxomaha.org) or Mary Martins (garagesale@piusxomaha.org) to volunteer, (Or sign up on line below) All those who volunteer a minimum of 2 hours will be invited to a special “Thank you” event!!
