Tonight, I bring to you all those who are wounded by illness, worry, self-doubt, anger or
hopelessness.
Please, God, be near to them and let them know your nearness.
Please, God, console them and let them know your consolation.
Please, God, hold them and let them know your touch.
I thank you for graces and blessings this day, especially when times were tough.
Let me sleep in peace and bless all dear to me.
Amen.
With Mary and the saints O Lord, I offer you this day.
May I live this day, knowing your constant presence with me.
May I live in love for all I meet.
I unite my prayer and love with the love of your heart:
O sacred heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.
Amen.

God of love,
My prayer is simple:
Your son, Jesus, suffered and died for me.
I know only
that I cannot have real strength
unless I rely on you.
I cannot feel protected
from my many weaknesses
until I turn to you
for forgiveness and your unalterable love.
Help me to share this
strength, protection and love with others. (onlineministries.creighton.edu/.../Daily-prayers...)
Protect us, Lord, as we stay awake; watch over us as we sleep, that awake, we may keep watch with Christ, and asleep, rest in his peace. (Liturgy of the Hours)
